The problem

Unblur text in image is for one problem: the letters in a picture are too soft to use. A receipt on a desk. A sign shot from across the street. A slide on a screen. A page caught at an angle when you meant to scan it. You need those characters readable. You do not need a new portrait or a rewritten scene.

Soft text has ordinary causes. The camera moved. The focus sat behind the page. A screenshot was resized until the strokes broke. This page sends the file to an image provider to clarify the letters that are already there, not to invent a different sentence. Read the result before you rely on it. An automatic pass can still mistake a character.

Upload only files you are allowed to edit. The box stays off until you say so. PolishPhoto does not train its own model. With a live key, the provider does the work. Without a key, the mock provider returns the same pixels and the page says the file was not clarified. That path demonstrates the credit loop. It is not a finished repair.

Three steps

  1. 1. Add the picture

Add the picture that contains the text. JPEG, PNG, and WebP are accepted, one file at a time, under the size limit. A crop around the paragraph usually beats a wide shot of the whole room.

  2. 2. Confirm and spend one credit

Check that you own the image or you are authorized to edit it, then start. One credit is reserved. Free credits do not require an account. If you are out of credits, the pricing page sells a one-time pack. Nothing on that page renews.

  3. 3. Check the letters

Download the file when it is ready and compare the letters with the scene you remember. If the provider fails, the credit is returned and the job shows the refund. Stored copies are deleted about 24 hours after the job is created. Keep the download somewhere you control.

Real situations

Soft receipt

A paper receipt is in a drawer and you need the total and the date. The photo is slightly soft. Run it here, then read the numbers yourself before you record them. The tool does not bookkeep the receipt.

Back-row whiteboard

A whiteboard from a meeting holds the decision, and the photo was taken from the back row. You want the words. If a stamp is the nuisance and the letters are already crisp, use remove watermark from photo instead.

Photographed slide

A slide was photographed off a laptop because the file was not shared. You need one sentence for your own notes. Upload it only if you are allowed to make that copy. If you are unsure which nuisance you are removing, start at clean up photo. Soft lettering belongs on this page, not in the watermark box.

Questions

Will this type the words out for me?

No. The result is still a picture, with text you can read in it. It does not transcribe a document, and it does not promise every character is correct. Check the letters before you quote them.

Why might the letters stay soft?

When no live image key is set, the mock provider does not alter pixels, and the page says so. A live provider can also miss very small type or heavy motion blur. A failed job returns the credit. A mock echo spends a credit and labels the file unchanged.

What should I do with the file afterward?

Save the download. Stored copies are deleted about 24 hours after the job is created. Free use starts at 5 credits. Paid use is a one-time pack at $4.99, $9.99, or $29.99.

One-time credit packs are $4.99, $9.99, and $29.99. None of them are subscriptions.
